Australia Group (Dual-Use)

The Australia Group makes sure that exports are not leading to the development of chemical or biological weapons. The bioweapon arrangement resulted in 1975 (BWÜ) as well as the chemical weapon arrangement resulted in 1993 (CWÜ) supports the Australia Group. The members of the Australia Group support the coordination of national export control measures. In June, 1985 the first meeting of the countries was sheduled which later became the “Australian group“. Nowadays this meetings are in Paris once a year.
